BYLAWS

The bylaws, along with the articles of incorporation, are the basic documents that establish a cooperative corporation as a legal entity. They were prepared by the incorporators and filed with the South Dakota Secretary of State. The Co-op’s membership must approve any changes to the bylaws.

The bylaws contain information about membership, rights and liabilities of members, directors, officers, meetings, non-profit operation, disposition of property, seal, financial transactions, miscellaneous and amendments.
